Gday Dan. I am sure someone will come with some advice for you shortly but I have no experience when it comes to Commo stud pattern on these cars. You might need to elaborate a bit more as to why you got knocked back on your rims? Are you saying you need to get a set of standard 15inch rims with a 3 1/2 inch backspace to get the roady approved? What width rim would you need also?

So it's fine to run a set Chinese made HSV replica wheels off eBay because the look the part
but a wheel that is run at over 500kph on dragsters complies to NHRA or ANDRA doesn't, that's the biggest load of crap I've ever heard, I hope you told him to piss off and go elsewhere.
Hope you get it sorted out without the need of stuffing around and wasting money.

No, my point was that those dual pattern wheels are 5 on 4.75 and 4 .5..... not 5 on 120.

That doesnt make sense to me either. Why would they knock the roady back with those rims, it must be because they have some sort of clearance issue. The rears do look like they sit a fair bit more in more than mine.
They are exactly the same rims I got for my LH about a month ago, gee they suit an LH or LX with no flares, no better rim imo.

Yeah your right Jeff they have to be Ford pattern I'm guessing?
Dan what size tyres and profile have you got on the front and rears, the car does sit nice?

Well, he mentioned about Commo stud pattern...maybe the engineer said no because he is running the wrong stud pattern wheel ? (120.7 instead of 120)

I didnt think they made Welds in Commodore pattern? I'd be going to another roadworthy place and maybe ask them if Welds will pass a roady, these rims are better than the original rims on these cars unless there is a new law that I am not aware of.

Never seen commodore/dual pattern Welds before...
And odd Welds in general were a no go with so many people using them on registered cars.

Just buy a set of stock rims mate and throw them on for the roady, after that you know what to do.

I have sold tons of the Welds which is why I asked.. they are 5 on 4.75 and 4.5 (as I mentioned above) but, 4.75 stud pattern is Not commodore I hope you know.. it is close, but not the same.
That is why I asked and brought it up in the first place.
