Hi, I'm putting an injected 5l into my lx. Engine is from a VS commodore.
What do,I have to do to the fuel tank to get the fuel pumping.
Internal swirl pot? Lift pump? Or is there an external pump that will do the job.?
Can anyone suggest someone in Queensland that can set tank up?
Cheers

Hi not sure if your still sorting your tank out out but I've just pulled my modified standard one out to go a droptank, I cut the ring out of a commodore tank ang tig welded it in original spot it's got the commodore in tank pump fitted if your interested in the whole tank. I also have everything else you would need as I just pulled my injected 5 litre out to go ls3

From your fuel tank feed line, just run an inline efi filter then carter black as a lift pump to your swirl pot feeding the top then line out from the bottom of the pot to something like a bosch 044 and feed line straight to your engine, then return line from your fuel rail run your regulator inline and return back to swirl pot at the top then overflow from the swirl pot back to tank

Your gonna want to have a swirl pot that has 3 fittings ontop and one on the bottom. You can use an existing fitting on the fuel tank as an overflow return from the swirl pot.

There's a few threads on here how some of us have set them up.
