there are a few in the build at the moment, if your on facebook check out the ''hot sixes'' page

i have a blower setup but cant really help with info on snout length as it uses a bit of a frankenstein manifold. it would probably be best to but a complete kit from somewhere like fisher superchargers, or try to pick up a complete used kit

Just stand back and look at that blower and the size of the motor.

It's ridiculous running something that big on a belt off that donk.

And a good turbo set-up will eat it for breakfast.

Never nind the laws regarding engine parts protruding through the bonnet.

Sorry for bringing commonsense into the equation.

I agree entirely, and every point is logical and sensible.

But I'm not sure that discreet efficiency was ever the goal in this case, and sometimes the appeal of a project is in its sheer silliness.

Meehhhh....turbo,been there done that...202,Garrett strata 5 kit...45 weber.....Aries forgies....worked 12 port head, all the usual shit......started converting manifold for EFI.....got sick of frying clutches....didn't want to go back to the glide....awesome engine, great power....ended up selling to a guy who saw it one day........i realise a blower will never be as good as a turbo....just like the menacing look of the blower and carb outta bonnet on a 6!

Yep, supercharges have their own fun like, grunt all the time, a whining belt, the look sitting out of the bonnet esp with twin 500 holleys and a petrol guzzler. Dave I

p.s. MR CHEV did these bolt on superchargers 30 year ago and now the superchargers have evolved to Centrifugal Superchargers pictured:-
