Was there ever any consideration of a wagon, maybe when they were designing the LH ?

It seems strange they didn't build one, considering the popularity of wagons in Australia.

A 2 door wagon / panel van like the Geminis would be my dream car.

Yes, in Torana Tough there is an LJ wagon and possibly an LH too.

From memory there was a wagon version released in Malaysia or one of those Southern Asian coutries that was badged as a Chevy.

I thought I had a picture but I can't find it.

NZ got that LC / J style one too didn't they ?

There was one on here at a Kiwi show not long ago I think, or maybe I saw it on another site...

An LH / X one would look tough I reckon, based on the sedan body but with 2 doors.

It looks much better proportioned than the white one above.

I spotted this at a swap meet this morning...pretty rare thing over here, never seen one before. Being an Opel, it has the baby Torrie vibe sorta....

HQ-HZ wagon would have to be a donar car for the job.

Hard to see but it looks like it still uses the LH taillights - would be good to see what the rear end looks like from behind.

^ I don't think that LH wagon was ever "a thing". I vaguely recall that being out of some old Wheels magazine, but that image just looks poorly photoshopped to me... what's the background?

You could build one using an LX/UC hatchback body and a Gemini wagon-van roof and end gate. Might have to join 2x roofs together to get the width right and there'd interference between the tailgate and the tail-light panel so you'd maybe have to run Gemini tail-lights.

Its only a hatchback, just use a UC Sunbird. There were heaps made. I'm not suggesting you'd do it to a V8 LX!

Im a povo, UC Sunturd hatch is all i can afford lol. Your right thou there would be a suitable UC donar somewhere, rear doors would have to go so its not as ugly.

And even once it was done the hatch and side glass could be sold plus it could still be a donor in the future as it'd still have hatchback doors and seats.

Street Machine did a delivery style one in Expression Session years ago.

Hatchback or extended doors and flares with an injected 202 I think.

HQ wagon taillights.

It looked really good.
