I've fitted one to a toploader in a VK Brock

I think Evan is using one too and even showed how to set it up

 

I'd suggest for the celica box you use one with a different bearing though... not a flat faced one

But one that looks more rounded where the bearing meets the cover plate

You should use a radius faced bearing for a flat fingered diaphragm, and a flat faced bearing when you have curved fingers.

Make sure you check out how much travel it has, some of those are only designed for the small 7" odd diameter clutches and don't have enough travel to disengage a normal clutch.

In general the hydraulic thrust bearings work great though.

Yes you will need to limit the travel, any half decent unit will have all that in the installation instructions

And if your pedal ratio and master cylinder size are matched you might not even need a stop

Usually go for around .7 " masters with my conversions

I found the Quartermaster an easy fit, was actually really easy except for bolting the transmission back in.

(or any ussie 4 speed, m21 20 22 etc)

I haven't done mine yet... but basically the same setup as the TKO Mark

I think the sleeve the bearing runs on with the M21 is a different size but quartermaster do a bearing to suit

Holes in the bellhousing for pipe in and out... unless you use the fork holes

And mount the bleeder high to make it easy to get too

 

Hydraulics I haven't even thought about yet... probably some under dash thing around 3/4 bore

I did one with a Tilton setup to suit Muncie (screw adjustment style). Just cut down an input shaft cover/thrust bearing slide as the OD of it fits snugly inside the Muncie replacement piece and used longer bolts with spacers.

Yes, on a M21 Muncie, Quartermaster 721-100.

 

I used a heavy cloth tape to hold the bearing in place on the long bolt which stops it rotating as you put the transmission back in, which helped a lot. Reach through the dust cover to remove the tape once installed - if you used cloth tape it shouldn't rip or leave debris in there.

Put a ram one behind the 308 with the T10, works beautifully with a 13/16 wilwood under dash remote slave. tried a 3/4 first up but not enough pressure.
