How about shoulder pads with white writing and throw in a mullet while we're there.
Maybe we should get a petition together and bug rare spares or someone for some 13" tyres with a nice small white writing
There is a dollar to be made, I know my tyres would be 10 years old so I'm due and ill buy a set every 2 years now the old girl gets driven,
They are re- making rims and you only buy them once so why not tyres.
Can you even get a 13" performance tyre or are we stuck with cheap forever on,
Either that or swap wheels for the 15" sprintmaster lookalikes to get a decent tyre selection.

13" stuff is pretty much gone here too...you can still get the white letter BFGs in 14" (60 series) and the 15's...but dont remember the last time I saw anythng decent in 13" off hand..

...there was a stencil and a can of white spray paint available, to ensure the sponsor was kept happy by seeing his name on the tyres.

Not sure how it would look on a road car, i.e. close up look

Looks OK on the drag slicks, a bit rough but then they do a pretty rough job of it, I'm sure it could be done nicer

The Prem looks great. I love the white lettered tyres on 70's era cars.

I wonder whether it will come back into fashion as, I know this is a bit different, but it appears fashionable at the moment for push-bikes to have bold white and coloured lettering on their tyres and rims. On some of the high end mountain and road bikes it looks tough.
