With that light bar so far forward on his roof rack, he wouldn't be able to see a thing once he got some dust on the windscreen. Hang on. He isn't going to drive near dust is he???

I’m not going to judge too hard Laurie. When you look back at the stupid stuff our generation(s) did to cars we weren’t much better. Like lowering cars so they were essential useless. Wheels too wide or too much -ve offset that rubbed or made them dangerous. Flares on cars never meant for them, like vans. Pulling off Quadrajets for 600cfm Holley did even worse big double pumpers on stock 308’s. Buying a 1-tonner and putting hot wires on it then carrying 1200kg on it. Or other such silly stuff.

The other modern one is snorkels, and that stupid noise that idiots make turbo diesels make. Unless you are driving through deep water or drive on lots of dusty roads they are useless. On petrol engines they actually lose hp.

Got a local P plate guy with his 4wd that has a really awful sounding blow off valve or something.

Sounds like the engine is breathing a sigh of relief when he changes gear.

Surprised the local plod havent picked on him yet. You can hear him all over town.

 

At least he isnt one of the young local wnaks that get out and start doing skids everywhere when we get a shower.

Each rain event sees at least one VN or AU in the bush at one of our roundabouts.

The shops I went to, the primer was generally grey, the spray putty was blue, and the knife putty brown.

Bog was generally a light green tint, but there was some yellow stuff as well.

Seen lots of black etch primer lately, but also used green and yellow at various stages. Just about all the GMH vehicles we are interested in had red primer.

My hsv is silver, i flammin hate silver, i couldn't find a black 1 at all, if it wasn't a hsv, i wouldn't have accepted the colour, it's probably why I'm not really fussed over it's paintwork. Silver is 1 of the worst colours in my opinion aswell. I do like a black car though.

Maybe this guy in Perth should have saved some money for driving lessons.  Nice colour though. Makes a change from the usual Fazza Red.
