​Your LJ GTR would of had Tags and a PSN Tag for GMH to sell it as the GMH accountants ran the PSN for checks, you car is missing Tags after if left GMH.

I'll try and make the association with the Wansley car to the 000x with VicRoads and see how it turns out, maybe I need to be more specific this time.

What makes you think its the Wansley Car ?????? Ask Vic Roads was LDN028 ever owned by Wansley, Check AOMC as the original JL engine number that was in LDN028 will give you all rego numbers and any engine number changes.

That is what you need to do.

Ian H Wansley is his name, it was a LJ GTR Torana he told me the Second Ad in the AGE Newspaper that said LC was a Typo should be LJ, it was a LJ.

Vic Roads Archives had LDN028 rego papers there, AOMC will have the card there for it with out a doubt. Have you really checked ?????????

When Wamsley sold his LJ GTR in 1975, it could of went any where, depends who he sold it to.

 

LDN028 was rego in April 1972, so there would be a Record of it at AOMC there Card will have JL127067 was first rego on the 29/4/1972 Rego number LDN028

Yep, they had the first card and the next one was for 1977 with engine number 31943R, if there is any information it's probably on the companion card which they don't have. And yet I know for a fact that it changed hands in 75.

If that was the case then Wamsley car had 6 cyl rego running a V8

As LDN028 was rego as a 6 Cyl on its rego papers.

The registration period is different between the two though.

If the theory is correct, there is an orange Xu-1 advertised by Holmesford during april 72 (a few pages back), there is a v8 advertised behind it (they couldn't sell it), the engine would have been swapped in may to be advertised in june.

Wamsley Ad says his Car is rego to June, his Ads were in 1974, So Rego was running out in June 1974

 

LDN028 rego was April 1972 to April 1973

then should be April 1973 to April 1974

them April 1974 to April 1975

 

So i cant see LDN028 been the Wamsley LJ Torana

Wamsley's First Ad was in the Age Newspaper Motoring Section on the 23 March 1974

 

Rego to June,  So June 1974

As he sold it in 1975, so he says. Then it should have Rego to June 1975.

Rego has nothing to do with the rules governing used car lots, do you really think they're going to maintain 50 rego's?

You dont know if Wasmley's Car went to that Yard in South Yarra.

 

Look go through Vic Roads and see If a Ian Wamsley name is Connected to LDN082, if its not then you know.
