Now I have very possibly been given the chance to get my hands on a Lj xu1 Bathusrt model.. The car has been stored for about 20 years and is in very bad shape body wise, car has the tags, original engine, box, diff, wheels, carbies. Full interior is ok. But like I said, the actual body is almost beyond repair rust wise. What I need to know is what roughly this car would be worth. I have no pics sorry.
If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just not sure how much I should be spending to get this car in the first place.
Thank you!

It's really your call.
They don't come up that often, so if you can get it for 15k and are sure it is legit, then go for it.
I totally agree with Skap (Gonad Gobbler tee hee) though, you should put some pics up to make sure.
If you can't do the metalwork it is going to cost you a LOT to get fixed though. Think 20-30k, but then it will be worth 70 maybe?
But not if you reshell it.

If you're going to reshell it, you may as well buy an s.
There are people on this forum who will pick it in a flash if it isn't the real deal, I've seen it happen before.
Having said that, as long as you present it as a reshelled car, no one will really worry about it. Its when you try to sell it and represent it as an original car when it is not that people will arc up because it is actually fraud.
No one likes to see anyone get ripped, which is why we've asked you to put up pics to make sure you don't.

Body shells are different from year to year and model to model....
It wasnt on ebay recently was it ?
And sometimes month to month, factory to factory.

What kind of differences are there in the body model to model?
