Went for a spin in my UC the other day only to find that the windscreen washer pump is not working. Not sure if it is switch in the the stalk or the pump. Checked the power at the pump and it was a constant 12 volt feed with no switching effect when the stalk switch is depressed. Am i right in assuming that the switch in the stalk is inop or am I missing something more basic??

Any advice on further trouble shooting would be appreciated

Thanks

Have you tried making a direct connection to the pump motor, bypassing the switch? That should tell you if it's the pump or the stalk switch.

HI 76lxJAS & Steve TPF,

Thanks for your suggestion, that was my next step is to try and replicate the switching as it was switching the earth, just need to make up some jumper wires.

Nigel
