Hi guys, I am getting different stories about theses tyres being sold at the momemt.
Brought as set from these guys a while ago and drove them about 5 km and it was like the rear end was in snow (driving in Bundy at the time ok). I could not drive over about 70kmph without thinking the back end would step out.
Had the whole front and rear end checked out as it has all been replaced at the time of rebuild. All rubbers shocks, springs, ball joint, rod ends .. Still not much better after the day of guys crawling all over the car..
The last thing that has been done (Yet to be driven) is that once the car went to the panel shop to be painted (12 months later and still waiting for it to be finnished) the car was put on a rack to spread the front end apart as it is a common thing to happen..

Up until the other day I was comfortable that the car maybe okay. Then speaking to a person at a different tyre shop in Brisbane made me rethink things. The shop had no good comments to say about the tyres...... Not happy Jan..

So question is has anyone else tried these tyres and have any comments please, as the maunufacture has had no other negitive feed back on the tyres..

Are they rags? Crossplies always feel like you are driving a couch, especially if mixed with radials.

I just shipped over some of the 265/50-14's to a shop there. They are the ones made/sold by Coker and are the BFG pattern ones but only black wall and are like more than double the price of any normal line actual BFG's (in 60 series that is)

Can't say how good they are at all, I only lifted them around and tossed them in the container, never used them. But they are "out there" at least. Here is a link to what they were. I'll ship them over for anyone of course who wants them, ha ha.

Yeah they are the BF Goodrich copies of yesteryear. They should be as good as the BFG's by rights. Antique Tyres sell them for around $375 each so they would have to be reasonable and at a minimum covered by some sort of warranty against separations. Run your hand/eyes over the Tyres and search for any raised areas. That could be your problem. If so take them back. As we are all aware they are only capitalizing in the fact we can't buy Tyres in that size any more.
