Hanra, those blank covers are pretty hard to find.

I spent ages looking for one to replace one that was rusted (yes rusted) through with pinholes in a few spots.

I ended up repairing it.

The car (factory 253 HG Kingswood wagon) is long gone, but I suspect the GTS guys would still be searching high and low for these.

So if I am running triple webers, I think I run a hose from the manifold to the brake booster, but I am confused about where I run the hose which comes out of the rocker cover, as theres no air filter as such.

That's the problem when you're running triple webers, I've never seen any set up with the pcv connected to them so this is why most people end up with a catch can. However I can't see any reason why you couldn't tap a thread into one of the manifolds and hook it up to that. I would suggest using a different runner to where the brake vacuum line is though.

There are a few air cleaner setups that run a bung for the pcv in the base of the rear air cleaner.

I don't run air fliters though...

I've drilled and tapped a second breather hole in the front of my rocker cover, also fitted baffles (fabricated alloy cover)

But my engine was a reasonably heavy breather

So from the 2 holes in your rocker cover where are they then being plumbed to? Or do you just have filters fitted to the rocker cover?

Interesting thread. I have a LC with a Red 202 with triple SU's, it has a 3 hole rocker cover. Previous owner had a hockey stick from the rear rocker cover hole, a PCV with no guts inside it and connected to the middle carby base and a breather filler cap. I have kept the hockey stick, installed a new PCV and connected this to an oil catchment can. Then a hose back and connected into the lynx manifold (connection is in between the middle and rear inlet part of the manifold). I also kept the breather type filler cap. Is this setup correct ? or do I need to have a blank filler cap?

I have just noticed an oil leak at the front of the engine, maybe front seal? May have nothing to do with the above setup? Any advise will be great.

cheers, Andy
