There has been plenty of talk through other peoples threads so I thought I would put this up.
March seems to be a month that a few can make, so let's start the ball rolling.
We need a destination then from that we can make two or three meeting points ranging from one side of town to the other.
I am happy with the Ocean Road that we did last time, only this time hopefully I can make the whole distance under my own steam, no trailer needed.
If everyone is happy with that, great.
As another idea we could go the other way this time, maybe Phillip Island or Portsea. Even maybe a round trip using the Ferry across to Queenscliff ( although that can make the day a little costly, around $30 odd for Ferry). He'll we could even go the other way and head towards Healsville, across to Kinglake and down through Whittlesea. All food for thought!
Then we need a date. My little bloke is having his Babtisim in March, I will know te date early this coming week.
Anyway enough bullshit from me, who's in? Where you want to go? What date suits?
Put in you input and lets see where we end up.

For me 15/16th or 22/23rd weekends both work. All 3 of your suggestions work for me. I'm in south east Melbourne so depending on the cruise route the locals to me can meet out this way and cruise across as a group.
Personally, great ocean rd would be great to do again although its the furthest distance for me. I'm ok with whatever.
Cheers for starting the thread

I'll be in date dependant. I am available the 8/9th definitely or 15/16th (possible party on this weekend but no invite yet), 17th is a public holiday but I am working, I am also available on the 23rd.
A cruise around the bay sounds awesome, we could meet around 9/10am at the same place as last time cruise down to Geelong and have lunch either Geelong/Queenscliff. After coming across on the ferry we could leisurely cruise around on the esplanade road making a few stops along the way before our Eastern suburbs members depart while the champions from the West continue on to the better part of Melbourne.

OK. I know my sons christening is on the 2nd March, 30th is the chrome bumper day, and I am busy on the 16th. These are all Sundays. As long as its not the Saturday the 1st ( I will need this day to prepare) I am happy with any other date in march.
Sunday 9th or 23rd (9th long weekend)
Saturday 8, 15,22, 29th.
Thoughts??????????

If my engine not back in for some weird and wonderful reason (highly unlikely) I will drive my daily wagon or even ride my bike for shits and giggles.
( my hatch being my preferred and more likely mode of transport
