Do you know anything about the Sampson rims that have the elongated stud holes? Did they use a reversible offset steel insert so they could be used on Fords or Holdens? (or Valiants?)

It’ll be Ford-Holden or Ford-Pontiac(HQ) Laurie. 4.25/4.5 or 4.5/4.75 inch. Not all that safe if the wheel centre bore isn’t neat on the hub. For a similar idea you used to be able to buy wheel studs too for Ford axles and rotors that had the 1/2” neck in them to go in 9” axles or Ford rotors but they were machined so they had a 7/16” thread on them that was fully offset to one side by 0.125” on the centreline. So if you put them in the axle one way you’d have a 4.75” OCD. Rotate each stud 180deg and you got a 4.25” PCD.

Nice. Verry Beautilicious reference object. They don’t look that deep but on that back space they would be.
