That would be great. I don't really want to buy anything off CRS never again.

That sounds impossible for any competent workshop but alas, they must be idiots to let something like that go out the door, that is shameful.I bought a hatch door skin from them . One inch to wide and an inch short!

Here's some pics of the bad angle at the top of the skin, they were replaced though, new ones are good but the pressing for the handle is still not deep enough and while you may not notice it the handle sticks out by a few mm.

I bought a hatch door skin from them . One inch to wide and an inch short! There weren't any slots to even hold the weather strip on. Door handle and lock seemed good though. I threw it away and finally found a perfect door for less than skin. Definitely a pack of idiots!
Danny, how long ago did you buy your skin. In hindsight mine were ok but needed to be removed to fix the frame of the door properly, I should have carefully removed the originals so they could be put back on instead of just cutting them off, but I did this before getting the skins and being assured "perfect"

Every single piece I have purchased (11 in total) made by them have needed surgery to even look like fitting, Some at 1st trial fitment were shocking and required re fabricating to the point would have been easier to manufacture myself, 2 pieces I did just that and tossed the s..t in bin making mine stronger & better fitting... My hard earned coin they'll never get again......

Are you talking the Hatchback boot lid? Or Hatchback door?
That sounds impossible for any competent workshop but alas, they must be idiots to let something like that go out the door, that is shameful.

Got to finally trial fit the ls3/t56/crossmember into the lh...had to take to the crossmember with the grinder to be able to sit the engine on it first !
ffs it looks like they welded the mounting tab on the T56 crossmember on the front instead of the back...where it should of gone because the mounting holes are out by over 80mm !! Not even close... don't even think I can be stuffed ringing them explain to them how they have defied logic yet again.. They obviously do NOT quality check or even fit their kits together before they market them...just don't know how or why they screw up pretty simple measurements... must be on the pipe of something !
Still waiting for the missing bolts from the front end kit too....
Might have to take the time to cut off all those pretty CRS logo plates they have welded to all there crap LOL!

I was over in Vic, so I walked in to buy a Chassis Kit for the LC. They had sold out, but had one there waiting for the customer to pick up. So, they rang the customer and asked if I could have it cause I was over from Perth. Customer was nice enough to let me have it.
Thats when the good service ended.
While there, I also asked for a Crossmember to Suit the RB30DET Gearbox (which they make). He hands me a TH700 cross member with "TH700" written on it and says thats the one, I then say no I don't think so, this goes on back and forth before I give up and say ok.
Chuck it on the trailer and I went on my merry way, got back to Perth and found the kit was missing some bits, so they sent them in the mail.
I then went to bolt up the motor and box, with the $240 TH700 cross member, and hey guess what, no where near the mount. Give them a ring, oh thats not right, can you send it back in the mail at your cost and we will send you the correct one at your cost...... I said I would make it myself...
Anyone need a TH700 CRS crossmember to suit LC?

Don't you hate taking someone's word when your gut feeling is telling you it's wrong.
Yep, people tell me I am to nice, and this one of them when I should have stepped up and said no you're wrong.

Anyone email them the link to the thread so they can get on the forum and explain why it's so hard to build something right the first time?

Hmmm
Got some good advice and good bits off Rod when he was still there...
He didnt suffer fools easily. not perfect. maybe even a bit arrogant because of the idiots he had to put up with........
I had the opportunity to talk with him a few times face-to-face and he was always polite and took his time to explain why i needed something - or why sometimes I didn't. i fit my large VN T5 and injected 5L many years ago using CRS bits he supplied.
Dont think I'll be trying my luck again for a while, by the looks of it.
Shame......

Iv still been able to use whatever iv got off CRS with a little work unlike the stuff i got off V6 Conversion mob at Moree.
