Try SSTORANA  a member here.  He does stuff through his Torana repo business.  Good stuff too.

Hi Mate

I got a set from Supercheap auto for around 30$ that were close enough in length and had a 45 deg bend (to come up from the water pump and over the inlet manifold).I then cut to the desired length and fitted.

Cheers

Tony

Yep your right Gerry. I bought mine from SSTORANA as well for my LH 308 and not only are they really good quality but they fit perfectly. Just  get these ones, you wont be dissappointed. Heres the ebay link to his set.

LH heater hose routing is totally different to LX which is what that eBay kit linked above is to suit.

LX with 27a does not use the same type of thermostat cover and possibly not even the same type of inlet manifold layout?

There are three red motor Torana manifold's with their respective layouts, carbies etc AFAIK.

The heater hoses are the same for V8 LH and LX (Pre 27A). Later LX (post 27A) are different.

cheers

These were taken in the early stages before I had purchased the correct ignition coil and hose clamps.

Yeah I didnt have the outlet on the rear of the manifold so I couldnt set it up that way, not to mention I have 2 small outlets on my thermostat housing.

I much prefer the LX set up as it looks a bit neater but I understand why some would want the LH setup for originality.

So I guess it comes down to what setup the OP has got?

Chuck up a photo of your engine setup Sammy?

LX has the thermostat bypass which should help with cavitation.
