Weather permitting I'm going to go.
We can talk about it at our cruise on the 22nd!

Website is a bit vague.
What's the schedule/plan? Is it a car show or do we park outside?
Is there anymore info other than the website?

Basically if you are on show you need to be in before 9:30, it finishes at 3, if you leave in between you need an escort out.
As far as I know there are over 10 car clubs involved to make it happen.
It's actually to promote men's health.
Only down side is alcohol free, but that's not the end of the world.
I have intentions of going, and being in before about 9.
When I'm ready I will just leave.
There is no major presentation as trophies are given out thought the day. Not a worry for me anyway!
Hope to see/meet a few there

Ah, ok. That seems a pretty decent time and plan.
I'll talk to you on Saturday about it but you could swing past mine on your way there....bacon & eggs, then roll on down together...
I read on facebook they are expecting 2000 cars!

I'm pretty keen on this event too. It looks massive with a heap of cool stuff going on.
Will wait until the weekend is closer before deciding. If I go, will rock up just before 9:30 I'd say.

Got a few things planned for Saturday already Grant. Although the missus keeps saying she'd like to check out some local cruise that's on as well (Manhattan in Ringwood out to Lilydale or something). So many things on these days, it's hectic!

Likewise Grant, and good to meet you Daz. There were probably less than 10 Torana's there today - but endless amounts of awesome muscle, heaps of yank stuff, amazing rods and customs. Then there were the tractor pull crew, drag cars & race boats. Good to see a lot of variety. I didn't spend much time checking out all the stall holders underneath the grandstand, but there was plenty going on.
Big thumbs up to the event organisers I reckon, good to see something a bit different to the norm. I hope they do it again. Will share some pics when I get a chance to sort through them.
Cheers.

Here's a few pics of the blokey stuff that took my fancy....
First up, the tractor crew
Drag cars.... always great to see these things up close..
The Braggs family are great people & super friendly. They were happily letting kids sit inside the Altered. This one runs an ET in the 7.30's...
You can have fun on water too... some schmick boats on show.
The Army boys, what a couple of cool builds. First time I'd seen Project Digger in person, bloody nice. They're about to embark on a 3rd project - a Jeep I think. In order to get all 3 to fit into their transporter, they need to perform a pretty major roof chop on ARMYGEDDON to get some height out of it, haha.
The fire-truck demo was ace, yes even for Dad. Impressive reach on this thing!
Next up, need to sort through my car pics...

Glad you like the pics, plenty more to come. As we were discussing on Sunday, it'll be interesting to see what kinda times both yours & Grant's cars pull down the strip.

That Bronto goes up 42 m and can go down past 5m into trenches and over cliff edges. It self levels when the stabilisers are out. I would have smiled if I knew I was in the shot of the orange colt. I'm the bald bloke in the background.
