Actully, maybe we could make like a section of articles like that, of peoples cars, and you could flick through them... That looks interesting.

*In a statement issued to reporter earlier today Liam stated that he could 'neither confirm nor deny the rumours of oil in the exhaust due to poor rings'. Officially the explanation stands at leaking transmission fluid that spilled onto hot extractors, but there are many who were present on the day and doubt the legitimacy of such a claim. One eye-witness who saw the alleged incident and who wishes to remain anonymous said 'That thing is a pile of junk, I wouldn't be suprised if there was oil in the exhaust, I can't believe it acutally made the full distance.' Offical representives of GMH-TORANA.COM, the offical organisers of the event, have sought to distance themselves from the incident, Admin Tiny quick to point out 'we don't condone burnouts on the road'. It is yet to be seen how the police act to this incident and many are watching with interest, following the introduction of new "anti-hooning" laws which came into effect on July 1. Were we go from here is a mystery, but one thing is certain, even the crap Torana's have style!*

Sweet job on the mag article Matt, looks very cool and professional. An offical mag would be an unreal thing.

Peace,

Well here's my attempt to add photo's that no one else has posted
Was hard to scroll through and remember what was already in the thread.
It's amazing how many photo's are the same from different people and camera's.

Ahh good one LX2DR, I didn't get a real good close look at MRSLR. What was the setup, can anyone remember, or the man himself perhaps...Sounded real sweet, what exhaust system is being used, type of mufflers etc.?

Sorry Matt, I don't any other photo's of that car, only a couple of 'old skool' prints, nothing in digital. Somone else may have picked it up in a shot, only one it was in was the very first one of the day with everything lined up.

Cheers,

I've already got a number of these pics my screensaver. :D
If you have Windows XP, these is a screensaver option you can use called "My Picture Slideshow" and just point it to a folder with all the pics in it.

HI MAKKA,

I AM CURRENTLY USING A EDELBROCK PERFORMER WITH A 2 INCH OPEN SPACER. THE CAR FEELS REAL STRONG DOWN LOW KNOW. I USED TO HAVE A EDELBROCK TORQUA. CAR FELT A LITTLE SLUGGISH DOWN LOW BUT TOP END WAS GREAT. LOOKING AT CHANGING AGAIN TO A PETER MICHAELS MANIFOLD AND 750 HP DP AND GIVE IT A 125 HP SHOT OF GIGGLE GAS. SHOULD GO DOWN THE STRIP @ 10.8 - 10.9

Hmm, sounds like a nice strong combo Peter, but yes, must be a few secrets I reckon, seems to be hitting above its weight a little. :spoton:

What is the exhaust combo you are running on there, sounded really strong and tuff on the weekend.

Cheers,

HI LIAM,

YE...I THINK THERES A LITTLE MORE IN IT YET.....A MATE HAS THE IDENTICAL SET UP IN HIS TORRIE AND RUNS CONSISTENT 11.30 @ 119 MPH. THE BEST TO DATE I HAVE HAD IS A 11.71 @ 119 MPH. SO I DO SAY WE CAN IMPROVE WITH SUM SLIGHT MODS. THEN WE WILL HIT IT WITH 125 HP SHOT OF GIGGLE GAS.
AS FOR THE EXHAUST IT HAS COMPITION PACE MAKERS MODIFIED INTO 4 INTO 1'S 3" COLLECTORS WITH A SINGLE 2 1/2 INCH GOING INTO 3 INCH, MUFFLER THEN A 3 INCH DUMP BEFORE THE DIFF.
HOPE THIS EXPLAINS IT...
CHEEEERS... :D

Peter - I emailed a couple of pics across to you mate. Have many more if you want them.

Yeah that thing is an ANIMAL !!!!

But the sound of your car, Brett, is still the my choice for the street, not too loud and still sounds tough.

By the way guys, I just spotted Mat (253ToranaSS) on the forums at www.ausmusclecars.com (which just publically came live today), although he's not logged on right now at this moment, if anyone wants to chat with him, you can find him there.

I think Heaths there too, LOL, Multi-spamming, HAHAHAHAHA :tease:

Cheers,
Rick.

No offence intended Peter, I was talking seriously about the note. Brett and I have the same exhaust bloke, very similar setups and almost the same sound and we have been talking lately about different notes/sounds and the muffler/setups that give that - thinking about changing mufflers. Our cars have a bit more of the 'crack' or even 'putt putt' in them then yours, and I was genuinely enquiring as to how you achieved the deeper note yours has (from memory). I don't doubt it to be a tuff car, anyone can tell that from seeing it/hearing it/watching it. I never turn down a ride in a tuff car, if you're genuine in the offer, next cruise, lets rumble :spoton:

Cheers,
