Hi Guys!
In this Build thread we will show you Heath's LC Torana,
From start to finish with a few details of what changes are getting made along the way.

The idea was to build this up as a nice clean GTR Replica BUT things have changed!

This is how the Torana looked when Heath purchased it.

As you can see this was a VERY RUSTY car and with most panels being taken over by rust,
The car went down a different direction from the first plan of a Nice daily driver GTR Replica,
To a Wild full chassis, LS1, T56, Air bagged all round with an IFS front end Build.

Next on the list is New Waddington's LC-LJ Coupe door skins,
A full One off sheet metal floor and recessed fire wall will be getting fabricated for it also.

Fantastic work, So on the other side of coin, Would it be fair to say Waddingtons Now have All Correct Measurements to produce quality fitting pieces for every other " standard-original configuration" LC/LJ they manufacture & sell ?? As per chassis kits, cross members ect,ect...... Quickly polish up the tin work & get a clear coat over that metal = paintwork finished......

Havent seen them for years.

That's funny Craig as I ain't seing them at all--- At All, So Am I missing something ??? I can't see any shock absorbers, and for as low as this thing is sitting doubt there's any fitted, probably just use different lengths of steel shs to achieve different ride heights, But in all seriousness Mr Wadd/Castle... Please I'm Not Trying to Be Smart Arse but have you contemplated answering my above question...

Andrew, unless someone comes up with a factory showroom car that has never been on the road, there is not a snowballs chance in hell that you would be able to make a product that would fit all torries. We are building custom cars, no matter how you look at it somethings not going to fit and only with some modification will you ever get it to fit 100%. I've bought stuff from the states before that fits perfect for the application but then you have to modify parts around it for the item to fit where its supposed too...sometimes you gotta think outside the square.

They look like helper spring shocks /overload shocks. Similar concept to air shocks.
