This Friday night April the 11th there is a cruise happening. It's the melbourne old school cruisers
Meet at Aldi car park DFO moorabbin 250 centre dandenong rd moorabbin

Meet time 9.30 pm till 10.45pm
Once the horn sounds departure is at 10.45pm
Up centre dandenong rd to nepean hwy,
Left into north rd,
Then right at beach rd heading towards station pier port Melbourne
There is over 686 cars going at the moment. Look them up it's massive, Im in let's hope the weather holds out. Not liking the chances. Who's coming along!!

I heard about the last one of these a couple weeks go. Aparently it was massive and the cops policed the drivers not the cars, meaning, they let you drive what ever you wanted with no hassels, if you drove like an idiot, they jumped on you.

Cruise leaves at 10.45pm from moorabbin and is policed by undercover cops. They leave at 10.45pm that way by the time they get to port
Melbourne all the business are closed and they don't hassle anyone. Pre 85 at the pier only anyone else parks outside. The last meet was
Big and awesome. The only let down this time will be the weather. Get on Facebook look up Melbourne old school cruisers look at all the photos
If the weather holds up I'm I'm. There is also a second group leaving from auto barn cranbourne at 7.45pm and will cruise to moorabbin.

I live in cranny so ill pop down there & have a look at what the weathers doing, if it looks ok ill prob head down with that group but if it looks like it'l turn I'll head back home.

Well I'm only heading down to the pre-cruise in Cranbourne as I'm not sold on the weather now. Ill head down there about 6:45ish & prob just go home 2 drop my car off then go to a mates to watch the footy at around 7:30 when the group leaves.

Anybody else going down tonight to autobarn & then heading off on the main cruise?

Yeah I'm not on fb so as I got to the Cranbourne meet & there was know one there I googled it & found it was postponed... Not to worry. Now I'm just sitting here in a die-hard Richmond tigers house listening to them blame the umpires & that "it's a conspiracy that the afl don't want Richmond to make the finals".....f&@k me I hate collingwood for this.

I left my phone at home today out off all days it got postponed till further notice for safety reasons, I'll post up the next date. Just walked in the door now and the weather is good outside but that's always the case. I'll keep you posted.

They had a "Mini Cruise" last night. I happened to stumble over it at Station Pier last night. They sure get some tough cars there!
Next cruise is ANZAC day, meeting at 4:30 to my knowledge. Someone on Face Book may be able to confirm though.
If you can make it, it would be well worth the effort

Its taken a while but slowly the dream is coming together

Autobarn Chadstone and Chadstone Shopping Centre have given us there blessing to hold our next cruise at **drumroll** …… CHADSTONE SHOPPING CENTRE!

Yes you hear correct. No more issues on room and lights. To top it all off, Autobarn is giving us all 20 % off everything in there store after 9 pm. So if your car needs anything, hold off till then.

Cruise rules as always:

Old school only - 1985 cut off
No hoon behaviour will be tolerated
Bring your best behaviour with you ;-)

Along with Autobarn, we have requested extra police to make sure that the idiots stay away.

There is plenty of room this time, so please don't feel the need to get there by 8 - give the shoppers enough time to leave. The main stage will be outside Autobarn.

Like always a cruise will commence to Station Pier at 10:30pm when the horn sounds. Most of us will take Poath Road to North Road, where we will turn right and head to Beach Road.

Don't miss this one guy's, it's going to be huge.

Sounds tempting guys, I might be able to make this. I'll see whats happening early next week and make a call on it. I see there's over 800 parking spots in the carpark out the front of Autobarn, hopefully I can get one :lol:

They did have a mini cruise last night I was still working a 10.30pm and took beach rd home. The cars were tuff as. It was a nice warm night last night let's hope it don't rain. I'll be there 100% for the cruise. Hope to see you all there too :-)

I think its Anzac day mate which is Friday next week. According to the instructions above it would seem this is the route they will be heading.

The date is next Friday anzac day meeting around 9.30pm at chatty autobarn there will be a horn that sounds around 10.30 pm. From there it's follow the leader. Just watch out there is undercover cops and the organizers wont take s##t from anyone. Anyone does a burnout or plays up you will suffer. It's just a cruise it will be a great night.

I bumped into Tubo and it was a huge turnout. I couldn't get the car in the main area so parked over the other carpark where the overflow was. Didn't do the run to the pier, took off in the other direction

I just walked in the door now. Chady was insane never been to a meet that big we're the crowd was well behaved so many tuff streeters out there. The cruise to the pier was wicked. So many old skool cars going down princes hwy felt like I was in my teens again lol... The pier was packed off wicked cars. Cops left everyone alone too. Well done to Melbourne old school cruisers you have won me over. See ya at the next meet 100%. Maybe will cruise in together next time Darren

We were so close to going to this one last night with the nice weather, but it's a pain in the ass with the kids out that late. Sounds like a great night, will definitely try to make it to another one sometime, even if it's just for the meet-up.

Would love to see some photos.
