Hey Wayno, I have HQ pattern 15x7's with 24" 225 et street radials on mine which I'd be happy to loan you if you want to go for a run...before you commit to buying rims/tyres. My diff is standard length I believe. No worries guys. I am going to start looking out for some wide stockies in HQ pattern so I can throw some et streets on them and just chuck them on when we go. Not a big fan of pulling a tandem all the way up there.
Will still be quite a few months away I think. As for my voice`well at least its original I guess haha.

Thanks Daz. Thats ok mate I want to put 235/60/15 on mine. Might be tough to get a set of stockies in 15 inch actually, it seems all the ones I have seen are 14inch rims.
I have a set of 14inch stockies at home that are 7 inch rims but I haven't seen any 235 drag radials for sale that fit a 14 inch rim.
Fair dinkum its either one or the other.

Is that rags or radials Warren?
I used to run M/T 235/60x15 radials at 14psi, I now run rags between 8 & 14psi, depending on the track.

According to M/T, 14psi is about the lower limit with the radial, I have tried them lower but the 60' dropped off.

I used to run MT ET Street Radials - I've used both 235/60x15 and 275/50x15.
I started at 18PSI, and had no drama's hooking up, so didn't go any lower. So I would suggest start at 18PSI (or even 20PSI if you want)... and then if you don't hook up, gradually decrease the pressure down bit by bit and see what effect it has. Just don't go lower than 14PSI as stated above. Hopefully you can get results with as higher pressure as possible to decrease rolling resistance.
I miss my drag racing days, they were fun times trying different things and always trying to get another tenth off each time at the strip.
Good luck

This might give some people a bit more info.
The first race was a great race. Whilst I was told to delete it I thought it was only fair to put it up lol.
Heres the 2nd race. You can here my son still badgering me about who won. Its great having a boy who is passionate about car racing. On the other hand my other son was hugging me anytime a car done a burnout at the line lol. Paybacks always a bitch haha.
Here is a video (Grant wins ) from a different angle to Waynes...

EDIT: Can't get the video to link so might have to dump it in your browser.
