I'm assuming it's true, given the person I saw post it on Facebook knows him pretty well.

RIP Harry

Truely a legend and a character. I am glad I got to meet him on various occasions and had the privilege of being invited to his house in 2006, it's something I will never forget.

One of my heroes from the time I was 6 or 7. I still remember spending time in the HDT pits at Warwick Farm in '73 as a nine year old. He had no problems with me being there leaning over Bondy's car. A true motorsport legend. RIP.

Say it is not so.

An old school type guy from the greatest era. He never said much in any conversation but what he did say on cars you never wanted to miss. His ability to get the best from his cars and his knowledge of how to best attack a race was something I admired.

An Australian Motoring Legend that had an enormous influence in oz racing circles.

RIP Harry

RIP Harry Firth, a true Australian Legend, and I think it would be fair to say the creator of the XU1, L34, and the A9X, I think it was at the 2007 Muscle Car Masters Show, I stood and listened to him talking to a couple of blokes about the L34 for about 15 minutes, something I will always remember

If it wasn't for his achievements I doubt that any of us would even be involved in this forum.

Thank you for all that you have given us, your legend will always live on.
