Steve. Your a legend. heaps more ideas now. i googled the hell out of racing stripes and didn't find as many different examples as you. I am going all red on my hatch (ducati red) with black stripes. you are right I'd love to have some sort of graphics program to do some mock ups on. i am defintely going the a9x scoop so once i have fitted it I will get the back plastic out again and stick it on trying different combos to see what works before the old girl goes for her respray. I will use stick on as opposed to paint stripes so i can remove if i get tired of it as you suggested

I was watching Horsepower TV today; there was a Camaro with stripes that was a combination of this:

except if you imagine the orange going all the way back on top of the fenders, instead of down at the sides.
