Maybe like the choke blanking plug fitted to my SL/R 5000?
No, it is different.
To my knowledge, the choke hole is a different size & the its blank is made of hard black plastic & fastened by a nut from behind.

Maz, looks like FA fuse box is no cigar lighter, no radio and no heater/demister fan.

so the description "FA" is accurate?...lol

Yes James, last three digits of part numbers are used on the Broadcast sheets. LJ XU1 muffler for example, last 3 digits of part number used on broadcast sheet.
Radios were a Dealer fitted accessory on all models and as such have no influence on the fusebox codes.
Thanks to Dr Terry we now know the difference between the FC and FD coded fusebox is the cigarette lighter. Factory fitment in GTR, XU1 and SL models. Dealer fitted accessory in other models.

I'm guessing that an FA fusebox was fitted to early LC base Torana or Torana S which had no factory fitted fan heater/demister.
This means no requirement for the fuse in the top right-hand corner.
In similar fashion to the cig lighter, if a dealer fitted a heater/demister as an accessory to one of these early base or S models, he would fit the missing clip-in fuse terminals where required.

Maz, I saw your S has the fan boosted heater but back in 1969/1970 it was a dealer fitted accessory in the S model.
So your Torana did not leave the factory with a fan boosted heater.

Just reading through this old thread today.
Question what is the best option in re-tensioning the fuse holders? I have a loose fuse creating poor connectivity and I wanted to get peoples advice prior to bending things!
thanks in advance.

Just be careful when you go to bend it.
If you have a good look at the fuse contacts, they may be removeable from the base by using a small screwdriver from a precision driver set.
I have seen replacement holders before, but my memory cant twig to where I saw them, and it would have been well over 10 years ago.
A good idea is to get an ink eraser and clean up the contact areas as well on all of the holders.
If you got really serious and worked out how to get them out, they could also be replated.
Cheers
Rob

Gusss you could buy this, and salvage the bits you need?
The EJ/EH ones are not that useful for spares. The 2 centre rows are one piece.
You are better off with one out of an HD/HR or HK/HT/HG, where all of the terminals are separate.
The terminals can all be easily removed & re-tensioned.
