Sound's like you know something I don't Daz,

I have alway's liked the little side quarter window:-

- can swap the window for another, that the Rego stickers are on

- break into your own car without much cost

- flipped right out is a forced Air-conditioner in Summer

Great you are thinking RAT.

Love your work Dave.

You are literally saving this car from the crusher and doing a good job of it too.

A long way to go but you're on the right track mate.

Good Point Maz,

The radiator support panel shelf metal, holding the bonnet rubber stops, is only 1.6mm thick, so no need for 1/2" ones, 10mm will be fine then.

Well that cosmetic RAT look is sorted.

Don't think you'll get it over the pits with pins Dave

I put mine over the pits a few years ago and had no trouble. Although I think the inspector was more interested in taking it for a drive than looking over it properly. Come to think of it, I still had the 10" rims on too.

Dave I, How about four (4) bonnet pins and a lift-off fiberglass bonnet (incl. moulded A9X scoop). Just like they did with those crazy Mopars back in 69 (factory option A12). Doesn't get anymore lightweight than this!

Will have to ask the Question down at DOT later, the Modification List is growing.
