Nice pics hrt, esp for a phone!

I scored some free tix so went up for a look on sunday, was a great turn out (for a mallala event anyway). Checked out the club display, the cars looked great!

Really enjoyed the Historics, that Stubber Camaro was pretty impressive, Trevor Talbot in the LJ was on the pace, kept up with the V8's well in the straights but it looked like he lost an engine later in the day... :(

Would've been great to be racing in front of that sort of a crowd..... ah well I guess there's next year....

With any luck we should have myself and both the Alison boys (and maybe the Eldridge hatchback) back for the twilight meeting late in october.

Well what a long day. The chewed up radiator was a big bummer. All was not lost we got the car out for the laps after a bit of patchup work. Couldn't stop the leak totally but did a good enough job to make it driveable just.
The racing was good and the crowd turn up was great for a Mallala event. Pitty it's the last year as they've been over looked for next year. The Talbot LJ broke an axle not motor. Green and I were over near the Northern hairpin when it let go right in front of us. Would have been a scarey ride. Was lucky it never dug in when it hit the dirt or it would have gone over.
Will post some pics in the next few days.

who owned the gold/yellow hatch on the northern hairpin? i was gonna go say g'day but thought betta not lol. It had a nice big brocky sticker on the back. next time if its that hot, im going home the other way, the engine temp was climbing so much, or ill just get some thermos. that sucks bout the radiator man, hope u can fix it.

If it was the A9X hatch back that was parked with Our HTC club cars it is Pauls, the Pres of the Torana Street Machine Club. I met him yesterday for the 1st time, nice bloke.

They looked like bogans in that gold hatch, it was pretty molested with the gas conversion, big ass hole in the back panel next to the number plate with a gas fitting :cry:

Hrt1and2 was that you and your dad in the 4door lx on the hill?
if it was im sorry i didnt come say hi, but wasnt too sure, cos i seen u pull up at the servo then leave.

radiator is a gonner too, needs a new one and the fan is gettin the flick

yea that was us in the 4 door lx. No worries mate, i was gonna wait round at the servo, but that back mound fills up pritty damn quick. always next time - im gonna join HTC soon anyways.
