The news is out the springmount drag strip near mareeba is full steam ahead work has commenced and is expected to be completed by mid 2015.
Let me just read that again!!..........Bomber theres a spare seat at the front with me if you want it dude.

Hangon i'll just move the bar fridge up to the front row. Only sat in the back because it was closer to the fridge.

Will this Drag Strip have Concrete Launching areas,
also, there is a minimum length of 300 foot hey?

Ooops..bit off topic there for some unknown reason...someone tried to get a track open on a disused WW2 runway in Mareeba back in the early 80's for a strip but it never eventuated.Thanks to Bruno who did the ground work over the past few years that it is now a go ahead..not sure of time frame...my calendar is out of date.

Not sure GP but it i should imagine it will be "up to Scratch" because of of rules and regs etc.
