Quick little thing.
Transbrake will knock few tenths off it both ends.
Sometimes wonder if hydraulic handbrake be worth a try for some cars.

Nothing like the sound of an 11sec Holden 6.
What fuel are you using?

Warren I'm still running 98, and no nitrous....yet.
It's only just started getting exciting.

Your convertor is probably setup for a spray, so probably no to tight.

This is fantastic!
What needles are you running now? She is flying...
Im running UM, I found UP were a little lean up above 6000, which meant I needed to run it too fat down low off idle to compensate. UM needles, give or take, have corrected this in my setup.

Cheers fellas, it's a good feeling getting a nice tune up, kinda like you've achieved something i guess.
You're spot on Warren, the converter is made for the gas. If you watch the tacho off the line, the converter doesn't flare much if at all once i mash it, but it worked fine in the EH. So from that it's totally down to the car. The EH ran a boosted brake system and was around 400kg heavier than the beemer so it really made the stall work. The same combo in a lighter car (860kg) & not running a brake booster wont stall up, so this is what the transbrake will overcome.
I'm running UA needles at the moment, perfect for the top end. UF's were nearly there but the UA's gave me a perfect 12.7 ratio across the line, although way too rich for the first 1/4 track seeing 9.6 - 10ish on the gauge & the engine coughing & farting. I have UP & UJ needles but obviously they were too lean.
Time to hit the mintylamb site again & sus out some more profiles....

Yeah doesn't look like it's leaving as hard as it should so got to be worth few tenths with harder that launch which should help it get just over 7k before finish line instead of 6.5 by looks of it.
Be good to see how quick it will go n/a then gas.
Personally I'd just want a wheel in the air

Ha, yep that's the one, I couldn't read a bloody thing either! Bugger me why i can't record it properly, the wife reckons it's something to do with it being an LED display.... That was recorded on my phone, i don't think my little JVC had the same problem. Apologies for destroying your brain

Doesn't everyone do their burnout at 7200rpm.
7200 off the trans brake should get some air under the tyres.
