Maybe so, but a single system into a twin outlet.....that's just gay.

Oh yeah, wiring is all done too, and I need to cut down the bonnet & boot frames to kill some more grams, and fit a scoop.

The poor mans fibreglass bonnet....

And gone are the boot lid springs & brackets, plus anything that resembled a protrusion in the boot area.

So true Josh....
Looks like 1/8 mile racing at Mildura & Whyalla will be the go until then.

They didn't close it down as such, from what I gather the promoter pulled the pin on the drags gig. Maybe it'll get going again, maybe people will just use a reliable track like Whyalla & Mildura more often.

How bloody long i hear you say......

Well its like this:
Gave the boot the same treatment as the bonnet.

Gave the doors the same treatment as the boot.

Got some sticky boots to keep the bum off the ground 15/8/26 (which fit bloody lovely if you don't mind!).

Had the bonnet resprayed to match the rest of the car.
Added a nice lip spoiler on the boot (cringe.....weight!!!) Oh well, it looks cool i guess.
Went & got its wheels aligned.

Added some stickers :P, so now its a race car right?

And had it weighed.........    around 860kg with a full nos bottle & 4lts of fuel!

Pretty happy with that, now to play the waiting game.

Could've added this to a number of threads around, but it's fitting here.

7.739 @ 87.98mph over the 1/8th was the best for the weekend at Mildura. Pretty happy with the result for its first time out, no breakages, just a few things to sort out before next time. Roll the rear guards, fix an exhaust manifold leak and something else I can't remember!

Anyway, I'm stuffed. Beer time....

Oh yeah, vids to come.
