I seem to be doing things backwards....
I just stripped the wiring loom out of the LJ.... So now its engineless, no front end, no brakes, no interior and no wiring...

That is a great Idea Col, but they only do that type of thing for Bikies .. :(
Best bet would be to meet up down the road somewhere, somewhere where the last two cars out, can drive slowly and block both lanes of traffic, and let all the other cars merge back onto the road... naughty I know, but heck it's only once a year, and the public would love it... maybe

Unfortunately the only reason the Police will be there is to make sure each driver stops at the Stop sign. We have been chipped about this before and it was made very clear.

Plan "A" .. Pretty easy to do at Moto Farm though........ Go left, turn right at roundabout, pull over to the edge of the road as you head to Hexam, have the last two cars sit side by side at 50 kph, the last car waiting on the side of the road can be in phone contact with the first car, and when he see's them coming, can let the first car know its time to go, and surely you's can all get into two lanes without to much trouble... and then stay close and stop for nothing..... well thats kind of how we do it on bikes ... 
just say'n.... if there's a will, there's a way ....
Plan "B" .. Meet at the grass area at Stockton, then move on up towards the roundabout that leads to Stockton bridge. all line up on the side of the road before the roundabout which leads to Stockton bridge, again being in phone contact, time it so two cars heading south to the round about, can stop traffic, and let you all file out over the bridge to Industrial highway.. 
Plan "C" .. Let someone who's good at making plans, make the plans ...

Pretty sure the solid white line counts as a stop sign when the sign is gone so be sure to paint some gaps in itPlan 'C'.

We just someone to accidentally break down at the stop sign at the right moment and Volla endless Torana's rolling through, what's the worst thing that could happen cops booking you for blocking the road a $220 fine that could easily fixed up with a good old pass the hat around gold coin donation.......I'd throw in a few bucks.

Hi all with a few weeks till Toranafest I thought a bit more of an update.
we have just over 250 pre entered cars
if you have PRE ENTERED ( Sunday) all you need to do is give your surname at the entrance point and you will be directed where to park.
If you are entering on the day you will be asked to pay at the entrance area then shown where to park.
I would like to thanks all that have pre -entered it makes it easier for us.
For those that have pre entered you then need to go to the registration area in the Pavilion and collect your goody bag.
the pavilion is where the VIPs and merchandise T-shirts etc will be for sale.
There are no ATMs within the confines of the showgrounds however there are a couple of Service Stations close by if you are stuck.
With regards to the Cruise I have been in talks with Raymond Terrace Police and they have not indicated to me at this stage they will be sending a car. I think even if they do we will still be required to stop at the stop sign when leaving Motto Farm Motel.
Remember to bring along a can of Dog food etc, for one of our Charities Dog Rescue Newcastle. all you need to do is walk over to the people from Dog Rescue Newcastle and they will be very thankful of your donation indeed.
As we are still getting auction items I will post a brief list in the next couple of weeks.
The Polo shirts for the Victorian Convoy (Facebook) look fantastic. Good Job!!
