You are so full off manureLol. Yep we went out for dinner last year I got in a shout with Gene... So had to order ciders...
The pub had their own brand cider, on my second trip to the bar, the barmaid inquired "does your wife like the cider ". ...

Some places at Maitland ....... http://www.tripadvis...les-Hotels.html
Some places at Newcastle ..... http://www.stayz.com...unter/newcastle
You should be able to go on Google maps, look for some suburbs where or close to where you would like to stay... And then type in accommodation in those areas... your bound to find something that suits .......... goodluck /

There's two motels near the "official" one. Can't comment on quality, availability, or prices but they'd be the closest.

just missed out on a cancellation at Motto Farm (bugger), i have found something but when I asked them if any other toranafest people are staying there, they didn't know and they said that they don't have anyone staying the on 18th 19th and 20th as one booking, makes me think that I might not be a good choice although there was a car club that stayed there a few weeks ago

This may be worth mentioning if you're getting something to donate. Just don't be a scumbag and abuse other's generosity for your own greed.

Hi all, the time has come to close all Pre Entries.
Currently we are sitting at just below the 300 mark.(as some entries are still coming in) so by the time the dust settles and the Post arrives we should reach the 300 mark.
If you haven't entered by now ALL entries from now on will be enter on the day.(please don't send any forms)
The Cruise destination has been finalised and a lot of work has been done to secure this spot so watch our for details.
For the Saturday Cruise we have secured the Services of a Drone fitted with a Video(weather permitting) for some very special aerial footage that hasn't been done before that I know of.
The Cruise destination is Private Property so I am sure we will all do the right thing. Just in case we ever need to use this area in the FUTURE!!!!!
So thank you to all that have pre entered it makes it so much easier for us for T shirt orders etc, which by the way we have increased to a record 750 this year ( they look great I might add) and no we will not be giving any previews LOL
On Sunday I will be looking at conducting an interview or two with some Toranafest Celebrities so if you want to nominate anyone I'll see what I can do.
With less than 3 weeks to go it is all action at Toranafest Central !!!
Stay tuned for more Toranafest Details
PS remember to bring some dog food etc for Dog Rescue Newcastle!!!!

Hi all again just confirming that the Cruise destination is Closebourne House Grounds at Morpeth. The historic town of Morpeth is about 3 minute walk from where we will be parked. It is well worth a quick look.
Thanks to Closebourne House (Lend Lease) for allowing us onto their Grounds.
We will have cruise instructions available on the Saturday and they will also be available on our Facebook page very soon.
There will also be a drivers briefing before departing Motto Farm Motel.
Please familiarise yourself with the entire route. Some members of the Hunter Valley Torana Club will be heading home from the cruise and not going back to Motto Farm. In previous years we have had cars follow our members and were heading to the coalfields etc and not back to Motto Farm LOL.
Regards
Pete
PS Great work James D and wife, with the pet shop. Post the name of the Pet shop mate they deserve a mention!

Hi all well the phone has been ringing with people trying to get last minute entries.
We need payment and a matching name on the entry form or some kind of reference before we can process the last few spots.
Sorry for those that wont make the 300 pre entries but the cut off has been clearly stated. You can still enter as an on the day entry . Please don't send payment for that.
We will also have a drivers briefing at 2:00pm before the cruise departs so please be there for that.
I also have had some questions regarding the drone. it will not be flying directly over the cars so no chance of any mishaps.
It will also take footage at Morpeth at the park up.
Thanks to Woonona Pet And Produce Store!! for their support!
Regards
Pete

Hi
I don't think it is "The king" as i was in a car club with him.
If that "37288H" is a club rego plate that is not his rego number on his car.
