LJ Torana rebuild

G'day,

 

Just thought I'd post up my project, maybe get some ideas and tips.

 

Just got it stripped and primed, pretty happy with how little rust showed up from it. Still have a couple problem areas though.

 

 

The plan I have for the car right now is pretty much a restoration, going to keep the 202 in it and converting it to a manual. Trying to keep alot of the original interior.

Hi Dan,
Get yourself some Torana steel and a mig. Start in the small hidden areas and cut and weld away.

Yep, that's normal, lovely rust to get stuck into. Great rewards when you complete it.
