Hoping someone can id this for me. Came off an LC ( engine built before i got it and no precise build specs - except aggressive cam) but was running way rich

I am no expert at holleys, but i have looked at all the likely places for a list number and cannot spot one

Identifying characteristics

a) 4 barrel

b)twin fuel feed?

c) mechanical choke

d) only one metering block

e) glass port for float

haven't looked at jets etc

Links to some photos - any thoughts - it seems a tad big even for a hot tune?

Are you sure there are no numbers on the front side of the air horn ?

Screw in air bleeds it looks like?

For the older style original Holleys, the 750/3310 was a pretty common style one (aside from the 600's) for the meter block/plate combo like that.

Perhaps measure the throttle blade diameters and look them up to get a better idea what CFM it may be.

Just looking at the pics, does it have anything, letters or numbers cast or stamped into anywhere at all? Hmmm...

hi thanks for the reply

i have looked up the choke on the inside and outside of plate 'feet' - may have been a number under at one time but smoothed back now. the bling fuel with the newer style float legs (terrible description) and glass sight bowl , makes me think newish, but the rest looks older,,,, maybe a creation?  I haven't got it in front of me atm but will measure blades next time i am up at the shed Cheers

Oh and as mentioned, with the screw in air bleeds I would think it is a pretty new one as well..

Odd it does not actually have Holley cast into it though..might be an aftermarket brand even perhaps?

if it was a Holley it would have a list number stamped in the choke horn as Jeff said some of the newer ones have it cast in the centre section(sides)
anyway its not a Holley its a copy from our friends over at Poocomp

Looks like "Performance brand" lol chinese piece of shit!

A mate was talked into buying one to put on a basic 350 crate motor but was not happy at all with it & asked me to have a look at it!

Was initially thinking it was a new style bling Holley.

Ran like a dog! With some quick head scratching he then showed me the box it came in!

"Performance brand" hahahaha

I slapped a second hand 650 vac sec holley on to prove to him it was a crap!

The 650 was magic! He returned the shiny pile of crap & put an edelbrock on it!

Will look nice propping open your door anyway!

Never seen a Chinese Holley imitation before, didn't know they made them lol. Is there anything they don't make these days.

Sorry guys been offline for a while ,not ignoring the suggestions. I hadn't,t seen Chinese copies before, but as I said no Normal cast marks. Strange they decided to pick a non typical one with only one metering block,,, or perhaps it was build your own. Anyway , I think I will look into a known carb rather then chase my tail on this one. Cheers again chaps. Darryl
