Been putting this Paseo together since July 2013 when I gave up on my 4.5 year long at the time Econovan project, due to just being completely over it and running into major hurdles with unseen rust.
This Paseo started life as a relatively clean 5E-FE powered 4 speed auto, nothing special. It was my sisters car for a year or so until she bought a new car, and then it just sat there unused. After getting rid of the van, I soon had the itch for a new project. My sister didn't want it, and with no rego and needing a bit of a tidy up in the paint department, it wasn't worth anything. In exchange for not paying for the parts I bought when it did a headgasket in early 2012, she gave the car to me and the rest is history.
A few phone calls and I had a low km EP82 era 4EFTE with manual box and LT-8s microtech. Then a TF035 and matching manifold and dump......pulled the old motor and auto out and started the build. As it stands its about 90% complete, just need to work out the bugs and do a final tune. My boilermaker mate did all the intake piping, exhaust, wastegate spur, intercooler brackets and a heap of other little bits of fab work, my mechanic mate helped us out with the motor and in general and I wired the car and pretty much done work all around the thing.
I'll let the pics do the talking.
