Hey guys i have a v8 4 speed muchie gearbox in my uc and am going to put a blue 202 in it and was wondering if i could keep the munchie and use the belt housing to attach to the 6??? thanks

i have a nother question bomber.. i need to get a filler neck for the drop tank.. i looked online but they said to go to medal fabricator so i rang some guys but that dont do custom fillers.. i dont know who made the drop tank so what do u recomend to do???? thanks

haha i leave for school at 7:50am than get back 4:30 pm so than am starving and have 30 mins to ring most compnays cause they shut at 5 :(
and i work on weekends lol :( oh and dont forget soccer )

I don't know who made your drop tank but every reputable manufacturer makes drop tanks to fit your standard filler. Can't say I ever saw a drop tank where a filler had to be custom made. Check yours as you might find yours fits as well.

ohk, yeah true! didnt even think of that! haha, i got a quote of marine metal fabricator that he could do one for like $150? but ill give some reputable drop tank manufacturuer. thanks heeps kangur, your advice on this and the 253 has been very helpful so far

Use your filler neck, cut it off your tank.
Joint it to the drop tank with a rubber hose & hose clamps.
Make sure the hose is fuel compatable.

This may be obvious to some, however... you don't want any sparks when cutting that filler neck off your original tank, particularly if you still have fuel/fuel vapours in it. I filled my old tank with water after emptying it of fuel to be sure it didn't go bang, and wetted it down as I cut, but I am anal about such things. Check the angle of the droptank join first too, it can make it easier/harder if you do/don't get it right.

Yes that is the way to do it, if I remember correctly Brown Davis even supplies that little bit of hose with clamps to fit standard filler neck with every drop tank they sell.
