Want to stay 13"

Currently have sprintmaster's on the car looking to go steel with the chrome lip and came across the ZZS AVON road tyre it's a 245/50 R13. Im looking to have a steel set of 13's for the rear made to suit with offsets I need to fit, has anyone had or used these or a 235 on a 7x13" rim?
Looking to have 215 on front 245 rear if possible with out having to tub or massage the rear end

You can put 235 on your sprintmaster's.

245 on 7" rims.

I used to run 235/50/R13 SF-330 Eagers on all four corners of my TC Gemini many years ago. No flares. Just some el cheapo 13in mags.

I gave them a quick email earlier and christopher has mentioned to go the 55/215s for the 7j13 rim .i mentioned that ive had 235s on

the said rim and i know its pretty much as far as you can go but whats another 5mm each side.

my first choice was the ACB10 SPORTS tires but has advised against them as they are a crossply tire.hmm

he forgot to give me prices but will tomorrow i gather

Gee he is super quik to reply . has advised to go an 8'' rim on the 245 because of the weight of vehicle.i just put 1100kg

also the zzs  are replacing the CR500's

prices for the  ZZS 215/55/R13   99 pounds lol

120 pounds for the ZZS  245/50/R13.     HA HA

madtoranajzedded I was hoping not to have to go to an 8" too so exactly what you said, whats an extra 5mm either side. if I get custom rim made up maybe il try for a 7 1/2" with the correct back spacing and roll the guards plus move the shock in I've been told it should all fit.

So AU $190 for 215's and $220 for the 245's

I don't know of any one who makes a 7 1/2" steel outer, just keep in mind..

(and we supply a lot of the wheel companies there with outers)

Oh I would have thought they could make up what ever size. Any things possible I've got a mate with a automated major pipeline welder/ cnc shop.

What is a set of inner/ outers worth jeff?

Not sure what my mate has there in stock as far as 13" goes  (but no "in between sizes like a 7 1/2" though at least)...I can ring on Monday and check if you like.  (15" stuff is most common and we do most sizes and styles in them, some in 14" and 16" as well..)

They are rolled steel and come in certain sizes. You could cut and shut them I suppose if you like but we don't sell anything like that.

Oh, and what did you mean by inners ?

We only do the outers themselves, no centers in 13"...the shops (wholesale that is) pretty much supply them or are just cutting out centers from customers wheels to widen, etc.

(He has 15" centers for chev rally and smoothies though.)

Most wheel repair mobs are more than able to do a custom width, provided they only have to make one continious weld.

Yes but your also paying an extra hour or two's labour ontop of the cost of the rim, instead of just the cost of the rim, per wheel for something which is really pretty pointless.

Bomber is back! Haha yeh I'd say more than likely just go for a stock 7" Then.

I also found kumho do a 235/45 r13V70A series tyre, anyone used or heard anything about them there's not a lot of info or reviews

Sorry Jeff by 'Inners' i mean centres, I'm not in California but would be good to know what sort of dollars are involved in getting a set made so would be great if you could find out. Well appreciated

The outers are there...not here anyways, so no fuss! And as mentioned, don't send over any centers that small, just the 15" stuff pretty much. :)

I am well aware that it virtually doubles the price of the job, but if an oddball size is really needed, it can be done.

They would look pretty baggy and crap on a 7" rim.

The only 13" outers my mate keeps there is 13" x 7" and they are $50 each, if you were wondering. :)

If you go a 7" rim I really think a 225 would be more suitable.

Thats what I run on the back of mine on a 7" rim, tyre sits about perfect on the rim, and because the cars are so small they do look fairly big.

I had 245's on a 7" rim in a previous life and I didnt think it looked that good then, Nowdays im ashamed to admit it. They looked like frOcking steam rollers under the back.

Bomber do you have any pictures of the 245's on it?! Would be good to see what it would look like if I went that direction.
And what brand tyre do you run with a 225?
