Bomber do you have any pictures of the 245's on it?! Would be good to see what it would look like if I went that direction.
And what brand tyre do you run with a 225?

I have run a 215/50 on a 7" rim and IMO it is the perfect tyre/rim size combination. Albeit the overall diameter is a little smaller than other options.
Also run a 245/50 on 8" rim and they are OK. Would be like balloons on a 7" rim though

Just my 2c

Cheers bomber it's always easier with a photo, doesn't look as big as I thought but that might be the height I might pull a wheel off my car that has 245/45/19 and just have a look at the size.

Josh yeh I've got 215's I think they are on sprint's at the moment. I guess only way to find out is to have a crack and see if I like it!

Yeah mate 2" lower would have been cool but woula rubbed everywhere.

Currently i have 225/50/15's on it and it is about 2" lower and looks good IMO. PLus plenty of tyre to hook it up really.

A 245/50/13 like originally mentioned would be ok on an 8" rim, though I honestly think it would look #@$^%& on a 7" rim.

The housing is 32mm shorter each side.

im not going to get them now.i will adhere to your advice mate.my car rocked up tues and threw on a set of nankank 215s and

they are actually hitting the lip on rear .my lawn has a bit of an incline and she just leaned right over and touched, suspensions

pretty knackered  and i dont want to bash the lip up.idealy i wanted it like my ol girl with 235s but then she was perched up a bit

.best solution is to go in like you have hey.

like what you said DJ its not worth forking out to get rims made just for a couple inches.

something that only a woman would complain about haha
