Hey Guys

Im putting my car back together after getting a body restoration.

Just wondering where the park light socket goes into?

My head lights are sealed and i cant figure out where the park light globe fits in?

My wiring has a head light socket and park light connection.

I need a different head light for that connection?

How are the original park lights fitted?

Mine shines through the little clear window at the back of the sealed beam.

No, the head light plug you have has had the park light piece removed, originally they look like the pics above, the park light shines through the small window below the bulb pins.

You could change the sealed beams to some H4's and maybe or maybe not the current mount for the parker might fit the H4, or more likely it will have to be changed.

If you are going for an original look then the above pics are what you need and will be available from Rare Spares or someone.

Oh i see, if i buy the park light holder will it fit on mine? or has my plug been modified?

I just had a look on eBay, they sell complete headlight and park light holder?

Would that be better? and would i need to alter the wiring?

Probably easer to just use the correct plug.

Is it possible to drill a hole in my head light for park light?

If you wanted to spend a bit more money and go to the H4 conversion, the park bulb pushes into a grommet/hole in the reflector and you could use your existing plugs. Don't drill into the sealed beams.
