Did they come out standard with that black strip along the bottom I reckon it looks shit it makes them look high.

It hasn't been registered for over 10 years! Does anyone know if it would have to go over regency? I live in South Australia

It should pass regency fine. Time unregistered is pretty irrelevant.  Particularly if it hasnt changed hands it should be simple as.

Jason has #@$^%& me over with his new high bid, i'll have to start selling my body to go better than him....

Anyone wanna buy a dick for hire? $5 starting bid.....

Haha I'm sure there are many of old granny that might pay u bomber..
At $5 each that would be a lengthy way to save..

in all seriousness this car would be worth good $$$$$$..
Keep it mate. You will hate yourself after it sold..

I'll pass on the swap. Unless u want a BT50 haha

It would've come out of the factory looking like this with black strip under the doors and rear:

No spoilers.

It's possible a dealer fitted front and rear spoilers (that's a maybe) and a previous owner fitted the flares.

When you post tag details we'll let you know what colour it was originally.

Probably a P.O. painted it but you're supposed to have the colour changed on the rego.; otherwise cops doing a random check could pull you over. The tag (above brake booster) will have a paint code noting the orig. colour.

If you've had it this long you must love it. Keep it, Once its gone it's gone. I've got a Monaro I've had since i was 16 (25 years ago) I only drove it for 12 months and its been off the road ever since, but I will NEVER sell it. I'll fix it......one day!

P.S Visit your Mum more often!!!

Listen to him. There's many here who will tell you about the one that got away. You question if it's 'too far gone' this would indicate to me you have some desire to get it back on the road. Do it!

Pleased to see I misinterpreted your question!  Get a few quotes on fixing it if you know some reputable panel beaters. The body numbers make it worth trying to save the car.

From your pics the rust isn't to bad I've seen shitloads worse but you'll have to do some more diggin

When you get the Torry home check out members projects threads for rust problem areas if your not sure where.

Hello Gibbo,

Your Torana is easy to fix, compared to really rusty ones.

Eric is me. Probably interested because it's much the same car as mine. The older photos caught my eye. Mine was painted up as a LH SLR 5000 when I bought it in the late 90's. I thought it was it's correct paint until an old fella put me in my place one day!

Gibbo, glad to see you're moving it to your place. Even just having a beer and looking at it will be good!
