This 240Z Datsun beat Holden to the production line before the Torana GTR-X got off the ground.

 

( an remarkable resemblance)

 

and did I hear Peter Brock's name, driving the 240Z BRE Datsun in this Video?:-

maybe the GTR-X may of become a supercar if were the other way around, hmm.  :furious:

Yeah, who would of thought that there was two Peter Brocks but yes there is. The other one is a Yank who designed the Shelby Daytona Cobra Coupe.

The USA have their own legend Peter Brock who designed the Corvette Stingray & went on to work with Carroll Shelby designing the Daytona Coupe.
BRE is his own racing design business Brock Racing Enterprises

I took these pics in the early 90s at the motor museum , this is when it was silver with the SL/E rims , Sorry about picture quality .
