QTCC members will be displaying their cars on Sunday.
Club meeting point is BP Caboolture northbound on the Bruce Hwy - meeting at 6.30 for a 7.00 depart & you'd be very welcome to tag along.
I believe from last night's committee meeting that President / Membership officer John Thomas will be attending & would be the man to speak to.
May be advisable to make contact with him before hand just to be sure.
Committee member details can be found at qtcc.org.au

Yes fantastic day, it didn't rain. I only managed to see about 50% of the cars there, they leave early. I heard Norm Beachy's Monaro start up, very nice sound, Hot cars everywhere. Would love to get my LC up there.
regards

Tell me about it, went to RACQ Motorfest at the Racecourse in Ascot last weekend.
Too many people, not enough room to move, take pictures or chat to owners.

When I go to shows these days I deliberately try and get myself in as many photos as possible.

Some Ford & Chrysler pics.
NIce to see Fairmonts and GSs and not GT clones. Think GTs have been done to death.

A little bit of other stuff.
Bowdens Beachey GTS, drew a crowd when started up, likewise the VK (not too sure but thinking it was a replica but looked and sounded race ready?)

That's a HX ute & it's absolutely beautifully restored.
Can't help thinking that the owner is regretting the choice of colour though

Chamois is pretty well a forgotten colour, most resto jobs are looking for a bit of a flash "look at me" colour...
That first photo is my Lucy. First outing after the rebuild and won committee's choice. Pretty chuffed.
Well done, Lucy looked awesome and congrats on the award.
The HX ute is owned by Darren from Altra9 the diff shop, he got it on the road this year, massive quality build and looks just as good underneath as on top! He likes the original Chamois colour. He also has a mint original LC 4 door.
Makes sense why the rebuild was spot on, Darren made my diff housing and the attention to detail/quality was faultless.
