Would you believe the front blinkers on all early LH are to low. They fail to meet ADR height rules.
Ever wonder why the A9X had a gap between the spoiler and the blinker, well that's why, they had to raise the height of the blinker.
The tooling for the spoiler was developed for the L34 and all L34 were built before the design blunder was realised. Holden didn't re-tool tthe spoiler for the change hence the gap.

I call bullshit on this one !!

I realise about the blunder concerning the height of the from blinker being too low, (12-15mm IIRC), & this was for all versions the LH. So really this was only important for the lowest height cars in the range, maybe the SL/R & the SL/R5000. But was the L34 this same low height ?

I don't have its official overall height spec. handy, but is the L34 as low as a regular SL/R given its 14-inch wheels & heavy duty springs.

The front spoiler tooling would've been based on the 'normal' SL/R5000 item.
