My first 2 cars were Minis but unfortunately not one of them was a Cooper S

Ford Anglia (Harry Potter car) at the front of the grid and a Cortina at the back

The Anglias and Cortinas went well with a twin cam lotus motor in them

They suited me OK as I am vertically challenged but you might be surprised at what can be done in a Mini as well as driving one  ;)

Great on the hand brake spins on dirt or loose gravel

Funny you should say that as the fella who tuned my minis was over 6ft, maybe 6' 3 and his name was Phil Barnes

Phil raced a purple Cooper S which got nick-named at Oran Park as the "Purple People Eater"

Purple and also lends a bit from the name of the song

I think Phil lives out at Wellington and his ex race car might be in Orange
