What are you using to remove the paint once the stripper has done its job Aaron? Looks good.

Thanks Laurie
I use a thin plastic scraper, works well when it curves to the shape of the panel.
I'm glad that's the last section of the paint stripping to be done on the hatch - prick of a job but had to be done.

I am getting my hinges done in Zinc too, Looks like we are at about the same stage of the build, but I have done the under side. Yours looks a little better body than mine. I cheated and had a sandblaster do some bits like the engine bay. It's a good feeling to have the car stripped, primed and looking like a car again. I couldn't own a hatchback without flares, but each to there own.
Hi David
I think Zinc hinges with black springs is a good factory look, I also have a pair of chrome hinges that I was going to use but I'll be swapping those with a mate for a couple of other parts....good old barter system.
The rate your going with your hatch build mate you'll be finished by the time mine goes to paint so I'm looking forward to see how your A9X style Hatchback turn's out.

Hi Rick
The more work I can do cleaning & prepping parts will ultimately cost me less as well as they'll be cleaned to my standard not someone else's.

G'day Guys
Fr0ck me time flies, as the older you get the faster it goes - but there isn't much to update atm just a couple of pics of a few things i've scored from my wife over the last year or so from birthday & christmas presents.

G'day Tony
Na no repairs by me - left it to the expert mate, just the bare metal & etch prime by myself, preped ready for Resto John to work his magic on the hatch.
Resto John is a mate who was highly recomended to me a while ago by a friend who owns a smash repairs.
I've waited for over 12 months for John to massage the hatch into better shape than factory in the next 6 months and he's looking after another mates
hatch in a years time so he's booked up for the next two years or so.
Cheers Az
