I'll update some more progress pics on the Hatchback soon.

I scored four SL/R hub caps & two SL hub caps off a Client yesterday for some work I did for him, gotta let be the old barter system.

A mate of mine has just restored a set of SL/R wheel trims by using new chrome trims from Supercheap.

It's seems to have been a long time since I've posted anything on my Hatchback build, nearly a whole year has flown by but a lot of progress has been made in leaps and bounds on the LX Hatch but my pics have been a few and far between although John has taken hundreds over the time he's repaired it.
Here's a quick pic of the front end I took months ago

G'day Toranaland
I thought I'd kick off the Sunbird to Phoenix build again seeing I recently received some pics of the Hatchback's restoration starting from the front end & radiator support, John who is a restoration expert kindly took many progress pics along the way ....enjoy

A new battery tray from Rare Spares was purchased to replace the original due to a little surface rust and one small hole

Thanks Rainman I'll keep that in mind although I've learnt over the years & building a few cars just to walk away or to jump into one of my other cars & go for a cruise ... that always puts a smile on my dial.

Check for Philips head screwdrivers too.

I was forever losing them.

Then all of a sudden some of them would magically turn up again.

Usually just after I bought new ones.

Thanks Ray but I'm not taking any of the credit for Resto John's amazing workmanship & dedication to his attention to detail, John was highly recommended by a good mate that's why I waited over 12 months for John to do my car & im glad I did.
