Hey guys, im thinking of just replacing the flare kit on LX as its about to get restored, it would probably cost just as much to repair and prep them for paint by the panel beater as it would to just buy a new set.

I dont want those cheap REPLIGLASS ones on Ebay, ive heard multiple times they are rubbish.

Is there a decent fibreglass kit, or Aussie made plastic kits for a fair price??

Thanks

Thanks guys. I just bought a full kit from Ernicks/ Wilson fibreglass. Apparently the best kits on the market. They had want to be at $1015 not including delivery

I am yet to come across a good kit for sedans and I have used a lot of different companies and probably buy 4 kits a year. If you find a decent kit let me know too. Some are better than other and some are pretty much rubbish

I have Wilson/Ernicks flares on mine......still required a heap of work to get them to fit correctly but in general are better than those rubbish ebay ones.

Check my Rusty Lx 4 door build thread and you will see what had to be done to line them up....especially the rear ones and the bobtail.

He is ultra slow, although I recently got an A9X bonnet scoop which was very good quality and a rear spoiler, probably one of the straightest I have used in years, good fit.
I have one of his flare kits but waiting to fit it so no comment on the quality or fit yet

I am also looking for some flares, does anyone have any recommendations for the wider rear flares to suit a 4 door , bought a set off Darren a DJ Composites,  they are horrible, called Emicks, they don't do a wide version, and apparently Hornets have disappeared, who else would anyone recommend?

Cheers
