I like where your car is heading Justin, also you won't regret the VE seats so comfortable.

But I am biased these are mine below.

Really nice mate! You definitely did your homework and looks like a build that will definately see the road sooner rather than later . even with all the little extra obstacles that always seem to appear when such conversions are started. I had my heart set on a magnussen heartbeat blower for mine but in the end it came down to about 25mm in bloody height to my bonnet and the engines sat as low as u can go (I can't bring myself to put a scoop on this car) that would've made me basically have to start everything over again after already getting my custom pipes made . It's still doable in the future but will wait till it bores me as it is.

Getting new front springs made for the coilovers so I can get it to where I want in height

Also have ordered new booster , just waiting for it to be made up so I can start on the pedal switch

Also waiting on a mate Soi can get the tunnel covered so can finish trying to see if the HVAC unit from the VE will fit in, along with then getting him to start sorting out with me the rear cool over mounts

Yeh there is a bit in them. But it has the 8 way adjuster with electric lumbar along with the seat position memory module All of this works of which key you are using as well :)

Sorry to get just a little off topic Justin but for the benefit of us hatch owners, those Caprice seats being from a sedan would not fold forward to allow rear access like coupe and ute seats do would they?

Do you happen to know if any of the VE utes (even in the HSV range) have full electric memory seats like yours?

I wonder if the legal requirement for rear seat access could be satisfied by one of the memory positions being set for full forward / full tilt (although I imagine it would be slow)?

the only Tilt forward for hatch back use is what the utes have which is mechanical ......   and yes the seat movement is slow but when I am taller than my wife I like the idea of having presets so I don't have to keep moving it to get it back into position

it has been a while since my dad and i have had a chance to work on the car (3 weeks in fact) - had a bit of spare time over the last few days though so have ordered some parts and modified a few things... one that is finished is the brake pedal.

started out as a Torana auto pedal and now has a VE manual pedal pad and sports cover... to go with the sports pedal theme

IMG_5065_zpsoyxooqld.jpg

IMG_5066_zpsfnbcqufm.jpg

Ordered a custom made boost from Terry at Hydroboost :)

IMG_5045_zpsxgbuavyh.jpg

IMG_5044_zps2ciqqctk.jpg

Then to match my brake setup and also fit the custom booster ordered the wilwood 1 1/8" master cylinder and proportioning valve from Castlemaine Rod Shop / Waddingtons

IMG_5062_zpsyivzw5a9.jpg

IMG_5061_zpsyor0vrg7.jpg

in the middle of another VE part meet Torana part at the moment and once finished will post up some pics... this one is a little tricky but a necessity to make sure all the electrical was going to be a easy integration

Hi Justin,

Great work and fantastic to see your progress.
Looks like it will be ridiculously good!

Do you have 3 generations working on this car?
Enjoy and success

Cheers, Tom

G'day Justin,

What were the details on the custom booster?

Did it only have to be custom to fit the Wilwood master or was there something else done?

wanted -

1. dual diaphragm

2. suit wilwood 1 1/8"

3. fit in with the LSA..

may be others that will work but considering i had nothing .. the price i payed was a supply , does the job, plus fully reconditioned/new parts
