If you like the look of Hothouse green i would suggest aslo looking at Supermint before you make a final decision. It is an A9X colour and much fresher i think. Worth a look.

Your car looks like it is comming along really well mate. My Dad and I built my first car together as well. It was a UC and we did the whole paint job, new engine thing. I'm 31 now and still regret selling that car.
Keep up the great work

Wow! That first pic really brings back some memories. My LX looked exactly like that when i got it (8 years ago now). Same colour, hubcaps, mudflaps, idiot strips on the doors and the lovely brown interior too.. only i had a whole heap of rust to go with it.

I just went for my first drive today since i converted my hq from 3sp manual - celica 5speed and i love it. Id recommend the celica/supra 5 speed, the overdrive gear drops the revs to a much more highway friendly level.

Crazy how ur car is fairly rust free after that baremetal, your very lucky.
re. the 5spd. highway friendly. not if you have a 336 diff lol. its quite buzzy at 100clicks.
keep it up. hope to see the fnal product soon!
