looks like good pick up

I remember when they were new, I was in high school, drove a VW

and the EH was the hot car about town

lowered, stiffened up suspension, extractors a 2 barrel carby

and a "1/2 race" cam of course

still have a EH Prem in the shed to put back together one day

I had a yellow one about 20 years ago and regret selling it. The car has it problems but with a fair bit of work hopefully it will be a solid project, Cheers

Yeah i know, in about 3 months when the kids start sport again we are going to need a second car, and i am sick of buying newer ones that i just lose money on. So i thought i would do this one up for a car to drive for me. The Torana would of been finished quicker but at most it will just be a weekend car

Engine bay and interior need a good clean up, engine bay needs paint and a few new bits to make it look good again, interior needs new door trims, carpet, seat belts, and also both front floor pans.

Torana is at the stage of a hell of a lot of sanding and not much to post on, so i might do a couple of posts on the EH.

I am going to keep the same wheels on the car but polish them, and the gear stick knob is definitely staying.

It looks like it's all there, so that's a pretty good start. Is it tagged as a special?
Bucket seats, floor shift & it looks fairly straight from where I'm sitting. Good start.

Yes it is tagged a special, the outer panel work is good, and it is very straight , the guy i bought it off lost interest in it, but it is all there and it needs some TLC and hopefully not to much $$$, i am prepared to put in the hours as that gets me out of the house LOL.

THere not really. Its one of those round and round and round arguements that never goes anywhere.

I prefer the Holley, not that I really play with two bbl single carbs nowdays haha.

Mate that's a good looking thing! Some grille bars removed, chrome over riders with painted bar & descent paint, I'm a little excited. Kind of spurring me on to get mine going at this end again.

Its funny my first car was a Gemini wagon that i painted the EH blue colour, my second car was a LJ Torana that had centre line type wheels on it, and my third car was a yellow EH so its like all three of my first cars have come together with this car, LOL.
