Mate, that's not good.
How big is Hobart, wouldn't think they could hide.

I would say they do know. But how are they able to get it from Hobart to the main land is the biggest question. I would be looking at anyone who has moved there in the last 3 months and search their place first. And storage sheds.
Check all suit cases at airports

Why on earth would they steal an L34? You could never sell it, and you can't rebirth it as anything better. Hopefully they were joyriders and it is soon found parked up a quiet dirt road somewhere.

You guys do realise Hobart is not a small country town ?
LOL,
Maybe another insurance scam, sounds very odd, they could pinch a far less valuable car and get same parts.
But if its for real,i,d hate to be the owner,he would be devastated !!

IMHFO, the value of the car is irrelevant to the passion level of an owner.

craig
i don,t know you!
but i,m insenced by your comment above
anyone who has had or currently owns one of these cars
knows how precious they are!
insurance scam pffft!!!!
and i may add
they don,t really have to be advertised for sale either!
anyone worth their salt and in a position to buy already knows what,s out there
i will say that you are entitled to your opinion
but if i was the owner of this car that had just been stolen
i,d be wanting blood spilt!!!!!!
before you make a stupid statement on a public forum
please consider the owner of this very valuable piece of australian motor history
end of rant
apologies!

He said if its real the owner would be devastated. And like Daz said. It dosent matter what sort of car it is. If its your pride and joy anyone would be devestated.
If thats the only stupid statement you have read on here perhaps you need to go to spec savers?
As for stupid statements..... I think it sits too high but thats just me

Bit sensitive these blokes in WA must be the heat ...

any comment you put forward is obviously regarded as irrelevant
as
after all i,m a good mate of gene,s
you know him
he,s the one who beat you in the toranafest arm wrestling challenge!
back to topic
aircon,s working overtime here
and yes everyone is entitled to there opinion!
if it was my car that had been stolen i would want blood spilt!
i stand by this statement and maintain that on a public forum
to so early on in the piece suggest an insurance scam
is frought with danger!!!!!!
to ozzie picker
i appreciate the apologie to the owner
and yes while sensitive on the issue of these stolen torana,s
i still say
find the car
don,t bag the owner!!!!!!!!
